High-reliability silicon diodes that meet the quality requirements of space agencies
Infineon offers high reliability Schottky and PIN diodes in hermetically sealed packages with component screening according to aerospace industry’s needs. Infineon’s high reliability Schottky diodes offer very fast switching speeds and are ideal for high frequency applications, while our high reliability PIN diodes offer very low capacitance and high reverse voltages. Infineon’s high reliability Schottky diodes offer high speed switching at low forward voltage.
Infineon’s range of rad hard, high reliability diodes are available in two different quality levels:
Professional (P) which is used for breadboards and circuit evaluation (Engineering Modules), and
ESCC qualified (ES) which fulfills the requirements of the European Space Agency (Flight Modules)
Infineon’s portfolio of HiRel silicon diodes can be used for circuit protection, voltage clamping, high-level detecting and mixing, current controlled RF resistor for RF attenuators, and switches. They are ESA ESCC5010 qualified and designed for applications in the space and aerospace industries.
