The monolithic fully integrated class D amplifier multi-level ICs allow filter-less heatsink free implementation and give designers enhanced flexibility to optimize audio systems for performance, size, and cost to meet critical design objectives in both today’s and tomorrow’s audio applications.

The integrated class D audio amplifier multi-chip module (MCM) family of devices integrates PWM controller and digital audio power MOSFETs in a single package to offer a highly power efficient, compact solution that reduces component count, eliminates the need for heatsinks, and shrinks PCB size by up to 70 percent.

Infineon’s portfolio of integrated class D audio amplifier solutions includes both analog and digital audio input types and are available with 35 W, 40 W, 80 W, 90 W, 100 W, 130 W, and 160 W output power for a variety of audio applications including portable Bluetooth speakers, home theatre systems, and professional audio systems.
