The new and advanced XC800 family of 8-bit microcontrollers offers a wide selection of products, combining a high performance 8051 core with on-chip Flash and ROM memory as well as a powerful mix of peripherals such as an enhanced CAPCOM6 (CC6), CAN, LIN and 10-bit ADC.

The C500/C800 family, based on the industry standard 8051 architecture, has been successfully designed into various market segments such as industrial and automotive applications. It success has been driven by a strong mix of peripheral functions with the availability of different memory sizes.
