With the BCR40x family Infineon offers the lowest-cost LED drivers in the industry. The output current is adjustable from 10mA to 65mA. The BCR401W and BCR402W in SOT343 package are the smallest standalone LED drivers available. The small size and the good current precision at low voltage drop makes these products perfectly suitable for following applications based on low power LED’s:
► channel letter
► light bar
► light strip
► emergency lighting
The BCR40x U types with 40V input voltage are suitable for applications with higher input voltages. Due to the higher power dissipation these LED drivers are well suited for long strings of LED’s with high voltage drop across the power line.
The
BCR450
is an ideal product for driving 0.5W, 1W and 3W LED’s in combination with an external transistor.
