Linear Voltage Post Regulator TLS208D1EJV33
Application Circuit

Reset Output (RO):
The open collector output can be connected to a microcontroller
using a external pull up resistor. If the functionality is not required,
the pin can be left open.

Thermal model description:
THERMAL_MODEL = 1: JEDEC 1s0p, 600mm2 cooling area
THERMAL_MODEL = 2: JEDEC 1s0p, 300mm2 cooling area
THERMAL_MODEL = 3: JEDEC 1s0p, footprint
THERMAL_MODEL = 4: JEDEC 2s2p
THERMAL_MODEL = 10: No self heating, only TEMP value used as temperature

The TLS208D1EJV33 is a monolithic integrated linear voltage post regulator. The
TLS208D1EJV33 regulates an input voltage VI in the range of 2.7 V ≤ VI ≤ 18 V
to a 3.3V fixed output voltage with a precision of ±2 %. The TLS208D1EJV33 is
especially designed for applications with a permanent connection to preregulators
like DC-DC converters.

The device is designed for the harsh environment of automotive applications.
Therefore it is protected against overload, short circuit and overtemperature
conditions by the implemented output current limitation and the overtemperature
shutdown circuit.

Model performance :
- dynamic behavior not modeled (CQ/ESR stability, line/load transient response,
start-up, PSRR)
- static behavior is modelled by approximation to the real behavior of the device
over temperature
- the thermal simulations represent an approximation of the actual thermal
behavior of the device according to the JEDEC standards at power = 1 Watt
and Ambient Temperature = 85 °C
