Equal job opportunities and compatibility of family and work at Infineon: Study by Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft validates open company culture
The corporate culture of Infineon Technologies AG is characterized by openness, innovation and dynamism. This confirms the study “Changing company cultures – avoiding career breaks” published by the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft e.V. The study is based on a survey of 220 female and male leaders from nine multinational companies. A major result: company culture strongly influences career opportunities of female employees. A mix of customized structural and process-orientated measures helps to improve a company’s culture towards an increase of women in management positions.
According to the results of the study, Infineon has already adapted many of its recommendations. Since 2008, diversity management at Infineon provides a set of structural and process-orientated measures to create the basis for an open and diverse organizational culture that supports the different lifestyles and various life stages of each single employee. The initiative “An attractive place to work” is aimed at further improvement of equal job opportunities and compatibility of family and work at Infineon.
