The Wireless Control Transceiver series from Infineon is made up by a group of very low power consumption single chip ASK/FSK Transceivers for low data rate communication in the sub 1 GHz frequency bands. The ICs offer a very high level of integration and need only a few external components.

Main Features

The devices contain a highly efficient power amplifier, a low noise amplifier (LNA) with AGC, a double balanced mixer, a complex direct conversion stage, I/Q limiters with RSSI generation, a fully integrated VCO and PLL synthesizer and a tunable crystal oscillator. All devices are designed to have best receiver sensitivity and up to +13dBm output power at lowest current consumption offering a dedicated power down feature to save battery life. The fully programmalbe register set allows many features like high and low power Tx modes, data filter, programmable I/Q, and baseband filters... all operating over a wide voltage and temperature range.


The SmartLEWIS TM  TRX transceiver TDA5340 is breaking into a new era of functionality: multi-channel, multiple protocol handling and digital baseband processing with self polling are only a few features of this highly integrated transceiver IC. More
