|24GHz Industrial Radar|| Based on Infineon's RF-Transceiver BGT24MTR12 and Microcontroller XMC4400
||This development kit allows a customer to implement and test 24GHz Radar applications as Doppler movement detectors, FSK distance measurement or FMCW Tank Level measurement. It consists of BGT24MTR12 transceiver MMIC and a XMC4400 32-bit CPU for Signal processing. The CPU is already preprogrammed with a sample application what samples up to 4 IF channels of the Transceiver chip and sends it via a USB interface to a connected PC. An included PC application can be used to display acquired data in time- and frequency domain. Using Infineon’s DAVE™ development tool own applications can be written and tested. |System Solution for E-band Gigabit link||E-band BACKHAUL SYSTEM as a Gigabit link using QAM64 modulation|
|With 10GHz bandwidth available in the lightly licensed E-Band and advances in semiconductor technology, E-Band links has gained momentum. Infineon’s mmWave Transceivers BGT70/BGT80 enable such high-performance Gbps links. With its advanced SiGe:C technology, these transceivers are highly integrated and housed in eWLB package thus offering customers performance, price and time to market advantage.
The RF frontend reference design has two RF modules mounted on a compact motherboard. The RF module is designed on RO3003 PCB and the transitions have been optimized to achieve minimum losses on board. In order to cover longer distances with complex modulation schemes (>16-QAM) in real applications, a GaAs power amplifier is wire-bonded at the output of BGT70 and BGT80. Read more
