Infineon Technologies introduces a complete family of Easy 3-level phase leg IGBT modules ranging from 30 A up to 150 A. The modules are available in Easy 1B and Easy 2B housing. Relying on PressFIT technology, fast and solder-less assembly combined with highest reliability levels are achieved. Low inductive designs facilitate the design process and optimise system performance.
High level of efficiency and optimised filter and heat sink cost can be realised. Additionally, the life-time of passive components can be enhanced due to optimised current ripples.
Auxiliary emitter terminals are available to enable even faster switching. For the power connection, up to eight pins are used in parallel, thus, optimising internal resistance, stray inductances as well as PCB heating.
The Easy 2B modules rely on 650 V chip technology. Hence, all modules offer an excellent setup for systems even with high DC link voltages at excellent system cost.
