The number of electrical motors in a vehicle increases rapidly, as traditionally used mechanical motors are being replaced by electrical motors to enable automotive architectures that support energy efficiency and CO 2 reduction. These architectures are based on decentralized mechatronic motor control solutions. Manufacturers need robust, flexible and intelligent motor driver ICs to help them optimize their end products' size and performance.

Infineon® Embedded Power ICs are specifically designed to enable mechatronic motor control solutions for a range of motor control applications, where a small package form factor and a minimum number of external components are essential, including but not limited to: Window Lift, Sunroof, Wiper, Fuel Pump, HVAC Fans, Engine Cooling Fan, Water pumps.
