LITIX™ Power Flex
Controllers for synchronous DC-DC topologies
The LITIX™ Power-Flex family consists of a 4-switch buck-boost and a dual channel buck controller with SPI communication. Through SPI communication, it is possible to apply dimming and to retrieve diagnostic data.
The implemented limp home feature increases the reliability of the whole system. LITIX™ Power-Flex devices with its high efficiency improve overall energy savings and thus enable matrix, pixel or laser high beam light sources.
TLD5542-1QV device is a 4-switch buck-boost DC-DC controller for medium to high power applications. It embeds synchronous and seamless buck-boost regulation to ease design-in.
This device can address a full LED headlamp (DRL + high beam + low beam) with a single DC-DC solution by using time sharing approach. Time sharing takes advantage of the output capacitor discharge feature.
TLD5501-2QV device is a dual channel synchronous buck controller; it empowers high current light systems (up to 20 A/channel).
The device can be either used for LED lights with constant output current or for power supply applications with constant output voltage.
