600 V CoolMOS™ P6 is a general purpose part suitable for most high power applications, which require excellent performance, yet also a high level of ease-of-use in the design-in process. CoolMOS™ P6 is suitable for both soft and hard switching applications due to its good body diode ruggedness. Optimizations such as Q G, V th, E on, and E off enable its superior efficiency, while its ease-of-use feature is attributed to the optimized dV/dt (di/dt) controllability, internal R G and improved oscillation behavior.

CoolMOS™ P6 achieves very low conduction and switching losses especially in light load condition, enabling switching applications to work more efficient and be designed more compact, lighter and cooler. This Evaluation Board shows how to design the Halfbridge LLC stage of a Server SMPS with the goal to meet 80+ Titanium Standard Efficiency requirements. On this purpose there have been used state of art of CoolMOS™ technology (IPP60R190P6) on the primary side and OptiMOS™ in SuperSO8 (BSC010N04LS) in the Synchronous Rectification secondary stage, together with the ICE2HS01G LLC Controller.
