With XMC4000 Infineon combines its leading-edge peripheral set with an industry-standard ARM® Cortex®-M4 core. Featuring Infineon’s powerful peripheral set, configurable to specific application requirements, XMC4000 is the ultimate choice for today’s industrial control solutions. This family is designed to tackle the imminent challenges of improving energy efficiency, supporting advanced communication protocols, and reducing time-to-market. Family members operate even in high-temperature environments of up to 125 °C, granting you access to their exceptional performance in all corners of your system.

All microcontrollers of the XMC4000 family offer a number of options with respect to CPU frequency, memory density, peripheral functions and number of I/Os. They span a portfolio of compatible devices at well defined feature/cost ratios, allowing selection of the perfect solution for the different requirements in your system. The series XMC4500, XMC4400, XMC4200, and XMC4100 allow re-use of software within the family and an easy interchange of hardware with certain pin-compatible packages.
