Colossus - PMB 3330 - 8R
The GPS RF Front-end Colossus™ is a tightly integrated, single-chip, double-conversion radio receiver with pseudo I/Q outputs. It includes a low-noise amplifier, a programmable frequency synthesizer for two reference clock frequencies, two built-in samplers, and power-down circuitry. The Colossus is designed for use with the IO 12-Channel GPS Correlator IC (PMB 2500) in the firstGPS™ architecture*.
