• SDCC compiler optimized for XC800 family with a complete library and an easy to use build management
• HiTOP Eclipse Debugger for convenient level 1 debugging. All Infineon HW kits are supported including miniWiggler , USB Wiggler and Drive Monitor
• Instruction set simulator for testing of algorithms.
• FLOAD is a Flash loader to download the hex code to the target via JTAG, UART-BSL or LIN-BSL
• U-SPY is a UART terminal program to supporting message filter, send messages and to visualize received data including a digital oscilloscope.

Free:

VX-toolset Lite for C166 is a free toolset that requires a node locked license key that can be annually renewed. The toolset runs immediately for 15-days of use after downloading. During this time you will be contacted for arranging the node locked license key.

Powerful:

VX-toolset Lite for C166 is based on the new high-performance TASKING VX-toolset for C166, which is the perfect choice for any new C166 project as well as any existing C166 project that is in a need for additional code performance (density or speed). Migration of existing applications have shown improvements of 45% on code density and 25% on code speed. The VX-toolset Lite has limited performance options for easy entry and for project that do not require all high performance features.

Complete:

The VX-toolset Lite provides you many powerful features from the full version of the toolset, also allowing an easy migration to one of the full Editions:

• Eclipse based IDE with integrated debugger (simulator and OCDS)
• Project set up wizard to help you to configure a new project

Click here to register and to download your Free TriCore™ Entry Tool Chain. The download version comes with an initial expiration date. Annual licenses keys can be obtained easily directly from the tool. The tool can be used with the TriCore™ evaluation kits.

Powerful:

The compiler is based on the proven high performance GNU compiler for TriCore™ from HighTec and the debugger is based on the powerful and easy to use PLS debugger limited to level1 functionality.
