Highly Integrated Power Management for Cellular Systems
Infineon offers a wide choose of highly integrated power management units for both the entry phone and features phones platform. Depending on the version the Infineon PMUs provide up to 18 voltage regulators, including several high efficiency DC/DC converters, low noise and ultra low power LDOs, battery charging, audio amplifier, USB interface including OTG and USB charging, LEDs and vibra motor drivers. The usage in the Infineon mobile phone platforms shows the advantages of the Infineon PMUs in term of reduced bill-of-material (BOM), occupied area and increased battery life.
