With an input voltage range of 2.75V to 42V and ultra low quiescent of only 5μA the regulators are perfectly suitable for automotive or any other supply systems connected permanently to the battery. The TLS805B1SJV is available in adjustable output voltage version with an accuracy of 2 % and output current capability up to 50mA. It is stable with only a small ceramic capacitor of 1μF at the output. The device can be switched on and off by the Enable feature leading to a current consumption of less than 1μA. With extended operating range down to 2.75V, TLS805B1SJV is also suitable to supply automotive systems operating during cranking condition. TLS805B1SJV includes internal protection features like output current limitation and over-temperature shutdown. The demoboard can be used in order to evaluate all family members available in the DSO8 package

The IC regulates an input voltage up to 18 V to a fixed output voltage of 1.2 V to 5.25 V with a precision of ±3 %. The TLS202B1 is especially designed for applications requiring very low standby currents, e.g. with a permanent connection to the pre-regulators like DCDC converters. The regulator is not designed to operate with a direct connection to the battery. The component can be enabled/disabled via the Enable input.
