24 Volt Systems for Truck & Transportation
Infineon offers a vast automotive qualified product portfolio of protected
High-Side and
Low-Side Switches with integrated protection and diagnostic features suitable to drive actuators in 24V application. These devices are ideal for 24V truck applications in which robustness, long-life reliability and wide temperature variation is required. All these devices can drive all kind of loads (resistive, capacitive & inductive) of 24V Applications, supporting mainly the Automotive Body market. The main applications are Lighting, Lighting, Power Distribution, Relay-Driving, Relay Replacement and Motor Drives.
Automotive MOSFETs
The MOSFET is the basic element to build power electronics. OptiMOS™-T and OptiMOS™-T2 have been launched to address the latest automotive and 24V applications. The MOSFET technologies are optimized in low R
DS(on), high current and robustness to provide the best possible balance of reliability, performance and price.
High-side and low-side switches for control units (ECUs) and power-operated systems
The High-Side switches PROFET™ family
offers a wide portfolio suitable to drive actuators in 24V application. These devices offer complete protection and diagnosis to prevent hazards in the harsh environments such as those required for trucks applications.
The Low-Side Switches HITFET™
are the counterpart of PROFET™. These devices are ideal for 24V truck applications in which robustness, long-life reliability and wide temperature variation is required.
H-Bridges
The servo driver TLE 4205 is an integrated H-bridge DC-motor driver for a wide temperature range. This IC is especially suitable for headlight-beam TRIM adjustment.
The BTM 7740G is part of the Trilith IC family containing three dies in one package: one dual channel high-side switch and two low-side switches. This device is easy to use for DC motor application such as door lock, mirror flap and steering dead lock.
Supply for microcontrollers and sensors
The linear voltage regulators LDO are designed to provide stable voltage with high current capability. It can be used to supply microcontrollers as well as external sensors. Their excellent immunity to external perturbations (temperature, load variation, voltage variation) guarantees their suitability for commercial vehicle applications.
The DC/DC converters covers the extended requirements where LDO are touching their limit like too high input voltage or/and too high supplied current. They are suitable for applications such as 32-bit microcontrollers, dashboard main supply.
Microcontroller
Infineon offers high performance 8-bit to 32-bit microcontroller suitable for all 24V applications.
Sensors
Pressure sensors (BAP/MAP) for powertrain application
Magnetic sensors (Hall Effect/GMR)
Radio Frequency
IFX offers a complete portfolio of emitter/receiver for 315/433/868/915 MHz and ASK/FSK modulation for applications such as TPMS/Keyless Entry.
