Innovation is the main enabler for a sustainable future. It is our way to provide society with sustainable products and allow them to continue with their current way of living while avoiding pollution.
In 2011 we have calculated our environmental footprint based on our manufacturing processes
(2); it is equivalent to 1.000.000 tons of CO2eq.
On the other hand, through high energy efficient automotive, PC power supply and electronic lamp ballast products among others, we enable 4.655.000 tons of CO2eq savings yearly
(1), which means Infineon enables a net ecological benefit of 3,6 million tons of CO2eq reduction per year.
