Job description

In your new role you will:
  • Develop state of the art test methodologies for complex SoC designs (using on-chip test resources, concurrent testing)
  • Define test cases and test concepts, by means of tight interaction with concept engineers, design engineers and lab verification engineers
  • Specify and develop automated test programs for highly complex analog and mixed-signal circuits in deep-sub-µ CMOS technologies for automotive microcontrollers
  • Focus your development on AD/DA converters, Power Management Systems, clock generation, G-bit interfaces
  • Use automatic test equipment (ATE)

Profile

You remain focused on solutions, are open-minded and flexible even if under pressure, exhibit and promote awareness for quality in your area of work and share information comprehensively and effectively. You will be part of a solid test engineering team

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • A university / university of applied sciences degree in Electronic Engineering, Microelectronic or equivalent
  • 5+ years work experience in semiconductor mixed signal test development
  • A very solid background in IC measurement both in the lab and on main ATE platforms (Teradyne/Advantest)
  • A deep knowledge of analog circuits
  • The ability to define advanced measurement concepts for product characterization, qualification and production test on ATE
  • Knowledge in microcontroller and embedded systems programming
  • Knowledge in Unix/Linux
  • Fluent English skills. German skills as a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G (www.feei.at/arbeitswelt/kv-tabellen-statistik/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-2016). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
