Infineon and Dr. Ulrich Schumacher sign cancellation agreement

Munich, Germany – December 23, 2004 – Infineon Technologies AG (FSE/NYSE: IFX) and Dr. Ulrich Schumacher have reached an agreement on the cancellation of his employment contract with effect of end of 2004. In accordance with the Supervisory Board, Schumacher already resigned from the Infineon Management Board in March 2004.
