SLE 88 family: High End 32-bit Security Controller
The SLE 88 products family is the Infineon’s state of the art 32-bit platform, designed in 130nm CMOS technology, with:
- highest security level (CC EAL5+ high) enabling secure multi-application and multitasking
- maximum performance for SIMs / UICCs voltage classes with an intelligent power management system
- maximum personalization performance with an internal clock running up to 66 MHz
- freely configurable NVM in code and data with 500,000 cycles programming endurance
- newest interfaces like SWP (coupled with Mifare™ comatible interface) and USB to enable future markets

The SLE 88CFX4002P is the first flash microcontroller designed fully in 130nm, reaching the CC EAL5+ high certificate.
It was rewarded by the Sesames Award of the “Best Hardware” at the Cartes 2006 exhibition.
These flash chips offer a decisive time-to-market advantage to card vendors and service providers in the launch of secure applications like digital signature, mobile-TV and mobile NFC, trends of the next mobile phone services.
