As electrification in Commercial, Agriculture and Construction Vehicles (CAV) becomes a standard, Infineon offers a complete IGBT module portfolio dedicated to these applications. The reliability requirements of power switches in terms of extreme vibration and extended cycling capabilities have been practically implemented. Due to new joining techniques and copper baseplate, optimum thermal impedance and longer lifetime for the power modules is guarantied. CAV dedicated products are manufactured on highly automated lines ensuring best quality standards. The IGBT and diodes of most products operate with junction temperature of 150°C.
EconoDUAL™ and EconoPACK™ are high power density IGBT modules in relatively small housing. Inverters for auxiliary and propulsion hybrid drives in power range from 20kW up to 200kW can be practically realised. Higher power range is possible by modules paralleling. The 17mm (height) low profile is perfect mach for flat and compact solutions. Silicon with blocking voltage capabilities of 600V, 1200V and 1700V in same housing mechanical dimension makes already designed inverters easily convertible to be operated with various DC-link voltages. This feature is beneficial for systems working with different battery voltages.
PrimePACK™ offers new technologies embedded in modern housing. Unique shape of this package improves converter thermal design and optimises electrical performances. Selection of IGBT and diodes types and sizes made the PrimePACK™ product attractive to designers looking for high reliability and greater power of the hybrid power trains. Appropriate module selection for type of electric machine (PM, SR, IM) or EMI compliance is with these products as easy as never before.
IHM/ IHV represent IGBT modules family with well established and proven over recent years housing concept. Diversity of voltage classes, current range and topologies combined with careful selection of silicon type proved how robust and reliable a converter in high power hybrid train can be. Transition from IHM-A to IHM-B housing made the product attractive even more than before.
Hybridpack™ 1 is a power module designed for Mild Hybrid Electrical Vehicle (HEV) applications for a power range up to 20 KW. Designed for a junction operation temperature at 150°C, the module accommodates a Six-Pack configuration of 3 rd generation Trench-Field-Stop IGBT and matching emitter controlled Diodes and is rated up to 400A/600V.
Hybridpack™ 2 is a power module designed for Full Hybrid Electrical Vehicle (HEV) applications for a power range up to 80 KW. Designed for a junction operation temperature at 150°C, the module accommodates a Six-Pack configuration of 3 rd generation Trench-Field-Stop IGBT and matching emitter controlled Diodes and is rated up to 800A/600V.
