Infineon Launches Second Generation Contactless Memory Chips for Access Control, Transport, Ticketing and NFC
Neubiberg, Germany – April 14, 2008 – Prior to the show RFID Journal Live! In Las Vegas, Infineon Technologies AG (FSE/NYSE: IFX) announced the availability of two new contactless memory chips for access control, transport, ticketing and Near Field Communication (NFC). Based on the global standard ISO 14443 and ISO 18092, the new Infineon memory chips are used for applications such as building access, event ticketing and fare collection.
