At Infineon Technologies, environmental sustainability is not an empty phrase, but a corporate responsibility that is an integral part of our social accountability. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow – our goal was, is, and will be always to integrate social, economic as well as ecological objectives into the daily business of producing and developing complex technical semiconductor and system solutions. As a result, we factor environmental protection aspects into our new products or manufacturing processes, even in the planning stage. Our holistic approach to environmental protection also includes industrial environmental protection, the safe transportation of dangerous goods, chemical safety (safety in handling of hazardous materials), management for emergency preparedness and response, as well as product-related environmental issues.
  
For Infineon Technologies, responsible environmental protection is not limited to legal regulations and official requirements, but also comprehensively addresses improvements to many areas, including our products, manufacturing processes, and facilities. Motivating and training our employees in environmental issues is equally important.
