Infineon Bluetooth ® and 3rd party Bluetooth stack are integrated options in several of Infineon Cellular Platforms. A wide selection of profiles is available, including advanced audio profiles.
The Bluetooth ® Headset is the natural counterpart to the Bluetooth ® enabled mobile phone and PDA. Small size, low power consumption and high audio quality are specific requirements for this application. Infineon BlueMoon ® HCI devices are well suited for this application with an advanced power management function allowing low power modes to be effectively used. Also the usage of Enhanced Data Rate for audio transmission significantly reduces power consumption.
