Life would be boring without new challenges. In the field of mechatronics there’s plenty of them awaiting you. You have a distinctive technical understanding and are looking forward to prove your craftsmanship.

For three and a half years you’ll learn everything necessary to keep the production process flowing. Ranging from metal machining to electrical engineering and varying from electronics to programming. Your responsibilities will include the planning, assembly and installation of new machinery as well as the initiation and maintenance of electronic or mechanical systems. You will find ideal solutions. You will manage your projects from the beginning and facilitate them until successful completion.

For your start at Infineon, a secondary school level I certificate (mittlere Reife) is just the ticket. The English language should not be virgin soil for you and mathematics as well as physics are some of your talents. You are used to work in a team and ready to take some responsibility.

Contents of the apprenticeship:
e. g. manual and automatic material processing, electrical engineering, basics of the semiconductor technology, automation, PC hard- and software configuration
